Create Your Way Out of It
When life has you feeling less than happy, and you would like to see things different than they are, here are some tips that can help you.
I learned that there IS a way out of and beyond any situation that we are less than happy about. This way is genuine, inspired creativity. Our creativity comes from one place only, and that is our connection to Divine Source.
We may have looked to other people to "solve" our situation. No go. We may have looked "out there somewhere" for a solution, only to find a dead end. The ONLY solution exists within our Divine co-creative capacity to discover the solution from within, and THEN we can "see" a new view that feels inspired, lighter, hopeful and downright empowering.
If you think that as a self-help spiritual author and teacher I never have a day without feeling down, allow me give you a newsflash: there are many days that I don't feel like "Ms. Born to Inspire." There are many days where my outer "image" looks the exact opposite of how I sometimes feel. There have been times when I felt like my "happy image" was a façade. Not true. I've had many, many days of bliss, and joy, as well as many, many days of tears or feeling down.
There is ALWAYS a creative solution that exists within your heart to transform ANY situation to one that looks and feels exactly the way you want it to.
If you feel the blues, allow it to pass. Feelings ALWAYS pass. Even the good ones, as you may well know. Well, the not-so-good feelings ALWAYS pass too!
Shift your focus on to exactly what you would like to create from THIS moment forward. Allow the past to remain in the past. If you have nay-sayers in your life, PLEASE remove them from your company. Only allow the people that are emotionally supportive of you to be in your life. As for the others, simply tell them nothing, or leave the conversation to house chores, like laundry!
Ask the universe to give you an idea. Ask for Divine assistance from whomever you pray to. Start to move your energy into a positive "I CAN DO IT" attitude. (I give Louise Hay full credit for that saying ? she is such an inspiration!)
Sometimes when life has its ebb, as opposed to flow, we don't like the stillness that much. Sometimes it's time to plant, to build a solid foundation, to go within and look into your heart for the source of your creativity to bring you higher than you may be feeling this moment.
Do not "judge" your feelings. They flow, and there is no "right" or "wrong" feeling, anymore than you would judge someone for physically feeling too hot or too cold.
Do not judge YOURSELF, period! You may wish to be in a different place, and you can be! The key is to become your own best friend, so that you have yourself in your corner, no matter WHAT others may say.
There is always a creative solution to bring you from feeling down, to feeling on top of the world. Look for the solution, instead of focusing on the "problem." Many times, the "problem" or situation is there as a GIFT to bring you into alignment with your highest purpose ? one that is lived from the inside out. NEVER live from the outside in, because then you will be chasing after goals, forever.
The KEY is to FEEL a heart-centered alignment with what you are doing, and for your motive to be, do and have all you would like to see in your life because it brings you joy, and is a heart-felt contribution to uplift life on Earth.
That is the greatest joy! Even if you plant a tree or a flower, you are still uplifting life on Earth.
It is important that your validation comes from your heart, and not from others. It is equally important that you view yourself on equal footing with the rest of humanity, and never place yourself above or below anyone, because that would be lying to yourself.
Where there is judgment, creativity is blocked. Where there is despair, creativity is blocked. Where there is a genuine heart-felt desire to rise above the circumstances in your life, it is that open heart of yours that will open up the energy for Divine, inspiring creativity to flow through you. And there, is your gift.
No matter WHAT you are going through, please trust that it is in front of you to take you to a Higher place on all levels. I know firsthand that this is truth.
You can create your way above and beyond anything you have ever imagined. Simply believe that you can, ask for Divine assistance, Divine ideas, and watch yourself get really inspired to shift and rise on all levels.
You are Divine Source Energy. Your heart is the channel of this energy. Focus your mind on what your heart would love the most, and allow the inspiration to flow through you. It will. I can guarantee that.

Leading a World Class Life
Every four years the world is given the gift of the Olympics. For a few weeks nations lay down their arms and come together to let their world class athletes compete on a level playing field to see who the best is in the many events. Such amazing athleticism was on display the past few weeks. It boggles the mind what these young men and women can accomplish with their bodies. Great feats of skill and determination bring them to the pinnacle of athletic achievement. Incredible.
Look To Trees To Help You Keep Balanced And Focused While Achieving Your Dreams
Do you remember looking up through the branches of a beautiful, leafy tree, on a warm sunny day? How the sunlight filtering through the lush greeness, seemed to take on an almost magical quality?

Why Read Inspirational Quotes?
Maybe you've heard this one:
Don?t Give Up!
Don't let anyone kid you. The road to self improvement and personal growth is not a short, straight, well-marked, paved highway. Looking back on my journey, I see a road meandering over hills and through valleys, around sharp curves and over muddy trails, with occasional boulders blocking my way. I can remember taking detours that took me off the beaten path and on to cow paths that wandered seemingly forever through the puckerbrush. It's been a long interesting journey.
Do You Have a Vision?
You must absolutely have a vision, or a dream, for your life.Your dream is what will cause you to jump out of bed in the morning instead of waking up with anxiety or dread for the day ahead.
The difficulty in finding love that is good for you stems from the same difficulty you have loving yourself. For those who believe in God or a higher power, to not love yourself is to not love the very source of your existence. To not trust yourself is to not trust the source of all life. To not forgive and have compassion for yourself is to not have forgiveness and compassion for others created from the same source. What is this source? Call it what you will, all matter comes from energy and all energy comes from Source. Leave the scientists and religious thought leaders left to their devices to try and explain that. You focus on your relationship, to self and to source.

Anam Chara - Wishing Versus Wanting
There is an old saying, which warns, "be careful for what you wish because you may get what you want."
There Is Always Room For Improvement
When I was twelve my parents bought me a five foot snooker table for my birthday. This turned out to be the best present I was ever bought and I quickly became hooked on the game. My friends would regularly come round to my house for a game and when they were not there I would practice on my own.
Encouraging Blossoms of Achievement
The tiny dogwood sapling was only a twig when my mother planted it years ago. At age four, with a red wagon and bucket, I was happy to carry water to anything that grew, even to the full grown flowering apple trees in my grandfather's orchard.
Circles On The Water ? The Impact You Make On People?s Lives
When you were a child, or maybe even when you were older, did you ever toss a pebble into the water and watch the ripples that emanated from the point where it broke the surface? Or watched the effect of raindrops falling on a body of water? I have done these things and have since found myself pondering on this process, and just how much it can be compared to our lives.
Giving Can Overcome Language Differences
I recently had to take a trip to Germany. It has been more than ten years since making my last international trip. I now have a renewed sympathy for non-English speaking visitors and residents in the United States.
Turning Your Life Over To God and Trusting Him To Lead You Is Like . . . . .
. . . . . riding a roller coaster for the very first time. You've heard things about roller coaster rides, but what you heard depended on who was doing the telling. From some people (usually kids, or chronological adults who remained kids at heart and kept their iron stomachs) you heard glorious stories about the thrilling climbs and descents, about the twists and turns and maybe even roll-overs. Their words and facial expressions and body language were filled with exhilaration and excitement. Even if they didn't tell you outright, you just knew from listening to them that they would jump at the chance to do it again and again and again. From other people, such as older folks, the faint-at-heart, etc., you heard about wrenched backs, whiplash, and the inevitable nausea.
How To Deal With Rejection
Rejection! Who hasn't experienced the horrible feeling of being rejected? Unfortunately we are often judged on what we do or say, which leads to either being accepted or rejected, valued or discarded.
Ignorance and Fantasy
Are beliefs not often the children of ignorance and fantasy? Consider the heavenly view of the world that young souls entertain at the height of their innocence, when their youth has been surrounded by love and filled with happiness. Hear their laughter. Dreams expand in a vacuity of knowledge like a laughing gas and induce the blindest, the purest joy. Ignorance is bliss, as they say, because it spares us the mental restraints associated with knowledge (which reveals the limits of reality and hence the impossibility of our fantasies). It is the ultimate playground where the mind can build castles in the air, create a wonderland, and live delightedly in this kingdom of reverie. It paves the way for the reign of error, as it leaves us to believe whatever we like. Everything that is desirable is realizable, if not real, until we find evidence to the contrary. Santa Claus eventually dies of our old age ? when we are no longer so young, so green, that we are easily fooled by a tall story.
Brilliant Autumn: Reaping a Bounteous Harvest
"But if in your thought you must measure time intoseasons, let each season encircle all the other seasons, And let today embrace the past with remembrance and the future with longing." - Kahlil Gibran (1883-1931)
Need for a Belief System: A System of Organization for Your Experiences!
I've spoken with many people who, over time, have felt inundated by their lives. It seems as though they've accumulated all of these memories and experiences, but the information seems jumbled and overwhelming. This pile of 'mind junk' keeps getting in their way whenever they attempt to move forward in life. It's as if they feel that they have to deal with each and every disassociated memory lying on the floor of their brains.
