Seven Things You Must Give to Others if You Want to Achieve Success!
A major part of the process of achieving success and living the kind of lifethat you dream of is to give. Many people think that to get what you wantyou have to take it. There is a universal truth though that the true path toget what you want is to give. When you give, you get. What you sow, youshall reap. If this is true, then what is it we must give? I'll show you theway...
Give Others Your Honesty. The world we live in has a simple rule that mostfollow: Lie when you have to. Unfortunately, this may make some peoplewealthy but it make us humans poor. To achieve success is to become wealthynot only in money, but in character. To be successful, truly successful, isto be able to attain your goals and keep your character at the same time!
"Honesty is the most single most important factor having a direct bearing onthe final success of an individual, corporation, or product." Ed McMahon
Mister McMahon is right, though others will tell you otherwise. Some peoplewill say, "You have to bend the truth to get ahead." Not true. Some of themost successful people who have ever lived where honest people.
How about you? Are you honest in all things? The problem with little lies isthey become big ones. Lies spin out of control. You get caught in one lieand you lie to get out of it etc.
In all things and at all times, give others your honesty.
Give Others Your Respect. Most of the time we give people respect based onwhat they have done or what they have accomplished. We gauge whether or notthey are "worthy" of it based on what we know of what they have achieved orwho they know or are related to.
But I believe we should have a higher standard: We respect people not forwhat they have done or for who they are related to or for what they can dofor us. Instead, we respect people for simply being.
What would happen in our world, in our company, and yes, even in ourfamilies if we started with respect for everyone else rather than makingthem earn it? I think we would see that most people would live up to therespect that we give them!
Give Others Your Vulnerability. We are taught to "be strong." And yes, weshould be strong. But we have also embraced something that I think keeps usfrom having the kind of life that we long for. It is an idea that keeps usfrom experiencing the kind of relationships that would bring deep meaning tous. It is the idea of vulnerability.
"But Chris, make yourself vulnerable and people will step all over you!" Itis true that this will happen. But I have also seen that most people will bedrawn to you. They will help you. They will open up to you. You see, we areall broken people inside. We all have secrets. Yet everyone plays the poser. When one let's down their veil, others soon follow - and we all win.
Give Others Your Care. Too many people are running around this old earth notcaring about others. The days of "Look Out for Number One" and "WinningThrough Intimidation" are over! Let's bring about a new day when we can careabout others AND succeed!
Take the time to show people you care. Listen to them. Empathize with them.Love them. Now, I don't mean that you have to go around hugging everyone -that probably wouldn't fly in corporate America anyway - but we can takesome time to step back from business and be human! And I have found thatwhen we do so, our business succeeds as well!
Give Others Your Passion. There is nothing this world needs more thanpassionate people. And people need passionate people. Living in this day andage can be tiring. The hustle and bustle of it all can wear you down andtire you out. Give your passion to others and fire them up.
Don't just be humdrum - be excited. Give people all the energy you canmuster up. And you will find that energy reciprocal. They will get energizedand passionate. This in turn will fire you up more when you are alreadycharged and get you going altogether when you don't feel like moving at all!
Give Others Your Experience. We all have areas that we excel in and they areusually areas that we have experience in. One of the things we can do tomake our lives more meaningful and be of utmost help to others is to showthem the way through the experiences we have.
Sometimes it will be what they should do: Shortcuts to take, people to meetetc. Sometimes it will be what they should not do: Shortcuts not to take andpeople toasty away from! Whatever it is, we can be of service to others bygiving them our experience and ultimately it will make us all better!
Give Others Your Help. All in all, what we want to do is to help others. ZigZiglar says that if we will "help others get what they want, we will in turnget what we want." If we want to be successful, we should consider ourselvesservants of other people. What can we do to help them and make them better? This is the true path to greatness and success, not only in business but inlife!

Commitment To The Journey
I have been a business owner for about a minute. In fact, that would probably be quite generous if you compared me to the business moguls out here or anywhere for that matter. But in spite of that fact, I probably know a lot about business, more than I realize and much more than you would expect, if you knew my background. It is my life as a business owner that has finally made sense of all the data and observations that I have gathered over the years. I spent 20 years of my life working for others, most unknown, some infamous.

How I Get Joy as a Value
*In the last couple of months, I have been fortunate to be able to share the troubles of others. Why fortunate? I believe that the ability to be very close to the pain and fears of others has allowed me to realize how utterly fantastic my life is.
Spring Quotations - Top 30 Quotations About Spring Time
Tending the Fire
In old buildings there was a boiler room where men stood shoveling coal or wood into a furnace to keep the whole building warm. If they didn't tend to the fire, the place went cold. The same is true in our lives. We need to tend the inner fire so our lives do not go cold.
The River of Life
I've always loved the awesome majesty of mountains. They are, however, the byproduct of the rivers that formed them: flowing, adjusting, carving, crashing and gently nurturing the land and animals along the way. The river carves its way through, and the mountains answer as towers of strength. Like the river, our lives are forever moving and changing, shaping us as the water shapes the land it flows through.
Those of you, who can fathom yourselves welcoming and enjoying a big, major change in your life right now, raise your hands! When I say, change, it might be a good change and it might be a bad change. Either way, we all don't know what that change is going to be like, what aspect of our lives is going to change and we might not even be happy with it.

Dont Ever Give Up
There is a reason I never gave up. A reason I never will give up my hope, my dreams, my desire to live. The reason is people who care. Those who have shown their concern for me, and their wish for me to succeed, to do the best I can do. They give me a reason to live.
Live the Adventure!
Think of an adventure that you might like to take. Maybe it is a trip to a foreign country or a major destination in your own country. Maybe it is to climb a mountain or float down the Amazon. Whatever works for you, picture what that would take. Got it?
I Dont Like This
You always do this wrong, how many times would I have to tell as to how to do the thing right, don't you understand to what I say, I am talking to you, are you listening to what I am saying. It would have been much better if I would have done that myself. Now go.
Everyone Has Been Hurt...Part 3
My friend Donald said to me one evening, "this is what I admire about you, whenever you say you're gonna to do something, YOU DO IT"! People always ask me how do I stay motivated? How do I stay encouraged? Whenever I am asked this question my answer is always the same. I tell them that I stay focused and motivated by remaining in an autopilot mode. However, when I ponder that question on a deeper spiritual level, I come to the realization that the true answer is much more involved than the "auto-pilot" response. Would you like to know what the real answer is? Keep reading.

Win Your Own Lotto
When people talk about enrichment, they are usually thinking of financial enrichment. (Show me the money!) But, we can enrich many other aspects of our lives too such as: spiritual, mental, physical, and social, as examples. Winning the multi-dollar lotto is not impossible, but are you spending your life waiting for your fortune to come to you? For those of you that feel powerless at work, you have more control over your destiny than you think you do.

The Most Important Investment You Can Make For Your Old Age - And No, Its Not Money!
When I was twenty-two, I was befriended by a woman named Doris who was thirty years older than I was. Although Doris was then a fifty-two year old woman, she did not feel it was inappropriate to befriend me. She did not operate with the social belief that she should choose her friends only from people her own age. We became very close friends and remained so until her death at the age of eight-two.
Launch Yourself Into Living
Memorial Day weekend, 2004, found my wife and I along with friends, relaxing in a nice camp setting in Hershey, Pennsylvania. We had a great time at the Hershey Factory Tour Experience, which included, among a dozen other attractions, an excellent 3D movie presentation which wasn't quite like a movie at all, but a true experience, complete with misters and blowers that would alternately sprinkle you with a fine spray of water or tickle your ankles with a subtle burst of air, in concert with events happening on screen. An exploding green blob or skittering spider-like creatures for example. There were occasions when a the sweet odor of chocolate would waft through the air as well.
Need for a Belief System: A System of Organization for Your Experiences!
I've spoken with many people who, over time, have felt inundated by their lives. It seems as though they've accumulated all of these memories and experiences, but the information seems jumbled and overwhelming. This pile of 'mind junk' keeps getting in their way whenever they attempt to move forward in life. It's as if they feel that they have to deal with each and every disassociated memory lying on the floor of their brains.
