The Mystery of Child Beliefs, Spirit in Children, Understanding Spirtuality in Children

In the wonderment of childhood, it is easier for a child to find Spirit and belief than it is for adults! Tainted with the experiences of the mundane world, sadly a downhill experience of late, adults can become jaded, defensive, argumentative and nonbelievers. Not so with the purity and innocence of childhood.

Children are occupied with their "work" of play, school and learning every moment of their growth. But that does not mean that Spirit is lacking. In fact, Spirit is already a part of children... not only they are receptive to the idea, but Spirit is inborn in all children. Children want to believe, they want to wallow in the mystery of the world around them.

Children understand mystery and fantasy, they sense good and evil, wonderment is a given. And they know what really matters! The most amazing thing is, that because of their innocence, everyone is equal and everyone is connected... in other words they have an inborn sense of universality.

They are born as inquisitive, open, trusting, social, friendly, and curious about all things, both real and imagined. It is the childhood acceptance of things imagined that makes it easy for them to accept the idea of a Supreme or all knowing One.
