Astrology & The Bible: Age of Aquarius

The normal Aquarian preoccupation with rational science is clearly seen in the way that our civilization is becoming increasingly based on, and dominated by science and technology. However, the keyword of Aquarius is 'humanity' and it is to be hoped that this quality will modify the present over emphasis on science, harnessing it more to the actual needs of man, than simply to what is technically possible. The moderating influence of Aquarius' polarity with Leo will also be needed to avert the dangers of revolution, and reinforce the growing concern for peace.

The prophecies of the Bible were written thousands of years ago by prophets who walked with God, and now their words are about to become reality. We have experienced wars and rumors of wars, famines and natural catastrophes, but finally, after two thousand years of sorrows, peace and good will are close at hand.

"Take heed that no man deceive you...these are the beginnings of sorrows, but the end is not yet...and the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come...." Matthew 24:4-14

THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS

From the earliest of times, and maybe even as early as Adam, the mental giants and men of renown noticed that in the night sky there was a pattern to the stars and order in the heavens.
Their mathematical minds went to work and somewhere and sometime in that distant past, the Zodiac was established in cultures around the world.

Astrology was the original astronomy, and blended in with it was prophecy and clairvoyance. Most astrologers of the time were also seers, as was Abraham, who was well known for his ability in counseling kings, and Moses, the greatest of them all, who learned his craft in an Egyptian palace.

It was during these ages that our Bible evolved, and throughout the scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments the signs of the times are prominent.

In astrology, a Great Year is the time it takes the planet to pass through the Twelve Signs of the Zodiac. This is 25,868 years, but there is no clear line between each sign, which is called a Great Month and lasts approximately 2000 years and a little beyond that. For simplicity, the months are calculated at the beginning and end of each millennium.

The night that Jesus was born, apparently the Age of Aries the ram ended and the Age of Pisces the fishes began. Aries was the age of battle. It was a war-saturated age and the Jewish tribes of the time were no exception. They were as bloodthirsty as they were religious and the chosen people of Israel, from whose lineage Jesus would come, were inclined to forget their LORD on occasion and worship the ram.

In the Age of Pisces, Christianity was born and the awareness of humility and charity. The early Christians used the symbol of the fishes scratched on the walls of their secret hiding places for other Christians during the Roman persecution, and Jesus referred to his disciples as "fishers of men." In the Age of Pisces, the struggle has been for freedom from war and persecution-and a struggle it has been-especially between good and evil.

When Jesus spoke of the Jewish temple, of his body, and how both would be destroyed, it was also meant as a sign of the times. That dark and terrible night there was an earthquake and the temple was rent down the middle. His physical body was dead, and the Age of Pisces became the Beginning of Sorrows.

For two days Jesus was in the grave. He brought in the Age of Pisces of Peace on earth and good will to all, but for "two days" and two thousand years (the Age of Pisces) there would be no peace or good will while his spirit was gone from our presence.

In God's time, one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Son of man [Jesus] was put through a physical death by the forces of evil, but the seed of the serpent only managed to "bruise his heel." The world can never destroy evil, as it is a dimension of God, but we can "bruise its head" and keep it under control. For two thousand years (two days), our world has been torn down the middle, like the temple, between good and evil and we have been spiritually dead like the body of Christ, but the third day is dawning! It is the spiritual resurrection of the Son of God, and there will be peace on earth and good will to all.

The time has come and it is NOW! It is NOT the end of the world as many people fear and the messengers of doom have prophesied. On the contrary, it is the beginning of a New World Order. Jesus will be King of kings and Lord of Lords, not in body, but in the Spirit of God. In astrology, it is known as the Age of Aquarius.

THE END OF TIME: The Tribulation

The scriptures in both the Old and the New Testaments tend to run the Age of Sorrows and The Tribulation together, and that has caused confusion and misinterpretation within the Christian denominations. It has resulted in false prophesies concerning the end of the world and the Second Coming of Christ; and No, the world is not going to end just yet, and Jesus is not coming back in a physical body again-ever. Nor is the Second Coming going to take place next week, next month, or ten years from now.Because religion and science have never been the best of friends, the Bible's account of the beginning and ending of the heavens and the earth has never been associated with science's theory of the expansion and contraction of the universe.
(In the Bible, Day and Night have many interpretations. Day: light; knowledge; salvation; a beginning of time. Night: darkness, ignorance or evil; death; ending of a day or time period.)

Our planet is nearing the end of the Age of Sorrows, and a New Age of peace and good will is beginning. The first spiritual ruler of this era will be born (if he hasn't already) in the new Zion and will be a BRANCH from Jesse, the father of king David of biblical times. He will rule the world in the spirit of Christ, and evil will be chained for the duration of the Age.If one of our days is as a thousand years of the Light, one thousand years of the Light would be, in our time in the New Age, 36,500,000 years. I don't think we will have to concern ourselves with the tribulation or the end of the cosmos just yet.Our planet has been given another chance to become a paradise on earth, but for that to happen we have to be "born again," as Jesus said. As we were born in the body, so we must also be reborn in the spirit, in cosmic union of body and soul. To be fully alive we can't have one without the other.

When and how will this New Age begin?

It has already begun. There still are wars and calamities beyond imagination, but there is also an awakening of souls long dead and a longing for spiritual wisdom. There is a growing awareness of the power of thought and how it can affect the body and soul, whether for good or evil, and we are questioning the purpose in life.

Is there a purpose?

Over the course of time, our planet will discover its role in the cosmos, but the most profound change will occur in the nation where the physical birth of Jesus took place. From this nation the ruler of the New Age will be born, and he will set the world on its path toward peace and good will to all. No, it is not Jesus, but a servant of the Lord of Lords, endowed with the spirit of the Prince of Peace.

In the Old Testament book of Zechariah, the prophet is told by an angel of the LORD that the soul of Joshua, who was once a high priest, would be sent forth to be the Lord's servant known as the BRANCH. The Son of God brought us back to paradise on earth-physically, mentally and spiritually.

In the New Age, beginning with the Age of Aquarius, the message of the kingdom of God and heaven that is within us will be preached and taught throughout the world, and it will go on for eons of time. It will last as long as the breath of God, during the continued expansion of the cosmos, and through the contraction, near to the point of zero.

"...and then shall the end come." (Matthew 24:14)
This is NOT the return of Jesus, but rather of the spirit of Jesus through the reincarnation of Joshua, The BRANCH.
